Baby looks like 'creepy skeleton' in ultrasound scan that left mum terrified

A mum-to-be had an unexpected fright when a scan of her unborn baby showed him looking like a 'creepy skeleton'.

Jessica Woods, 23, quipped that the was scared of the infant after seeing the picture.

She had booked herself in for an ultrasound at her doctor's when she was 21 weeks and five days pregnant.

However during the ultrasound, Jessica, a full-time student, claims that her baby boy looked like a 'skeleton' and 'creeped' her out when he turned to face her.

Examining the print-outs she was given of the scan Jessica, from Guthrie, Oklahoma, US, couldn't believe that her son looked like a large eerie skull.

Although, after joking she was nervous of what her son would look like due to the scan, Jessica's nerves were settled when her perfect baby boy, Silas, now one, was born.

Jessica said: "At first I just saw a normal ultrasound and everything looked fine.

"But then he slowly turned his head to face us and it was just really, really creepy looking.

"It was really scary and made me a little nervous about what I could expect when I gave birth to my son!

"I was honestly scared of what I was seeing in front of me - it looked like a skeleton but for some reason it's so much creepier.

"When I had my daughter, and went for ultrasounds with her, I never had any creepy pictures - so this one really shocked me!"

And since her son was born completely 'un-horrified', Jessica claims that her friends and family don't believe the sound is of Silas.

She said: "Luckily when he was born he didn't look demonic or scary at all - he looked perfect!

"Everyone thinks the scan is fake until I show them my name and information on it.

"I've had people ask me to send it to them because they want to show other people because their so creeped out!

"Anyone who sees it always says how creepy it is and that my son looks like a massive skull!

"At least, now I know he's perfectly fine, it's something I can laugh at and will be something fun to show him when he's older!"
