Baby girl dies at Scots home as police called to scene


A one-year-old girl has suddenly died at a Scots house.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Cant Crescent in St Andrews, Fife, at 4.55pm on Wednesday, December 28. Officers investigating the circumstances have confirmed the child's death is not being treated as suspicious.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of the sudden death of a one year old girl at a property in St Andrews around 4.55pm on Wednesday. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
