Fans of The Chase were left gobsmacked to learn a contestant's real age.
ITV’s popular quiz show sees four strangers team up and pit their wits against one of the eponymous Chasers to try and claim a jackpot worth thousands of pounds.
The Chase players must face one of the nation's favourite quiz geniuses; Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan or new Chaser Darragh 'the Menace' Ennis, who each use their quizzing prowess to prevent players winning a cash prize.

Presented by Bradley Walsh, quizzing hopefuls must first endure a solo cash builder round before going head to head with a Chaser to try and win a place in the Final Chase.
Tonight, George, Charlotte, Louis and Archie were facing Anne Hegerty with the hope of winning thousands of pounds.
But viewers were floored when Charlotte, who won £5,000 in her cash builder, revealed her age.
She told Bradley that she was 30-years-old, but fans at home couldn't get over her youthful appearance.
Imo said: "How old was Charlotte? Only looks like a baba."
A second tweeted: "Charlotte looks good for 30."
A third wrote: "Charlotte doesn’t look 30. Hmmm, must be witchcraft."
Connor added: "Charlotte is a fox."
Another commented: "Charlotte is 30, she looks so young."
Jake said: "Charlotte seems very intelligent hope she manages to get the win!"
