Baby dies after heavily-pregnant woman seriously injured in hit-and-run

A heavily pregnant woman knocked down by a hit-and-run driver has now lost her baby.

The woman in her 40 was cycling when she was ploughed down in Aylestone Park, Leicester, late last night.

Leicestershire Police confirmed she's lost her baby as a result.
