BA Cityflyer has launched a new direct service from Glasgow Airport to a Spanish coastal city best known for its culture and “world-renowned” cuisine.
The airline, a British Airways subsidiary, launched its twice-weekly flights from the Scottish city to San Sebastián on Saturday, providing holidaymakers with direct access to one of Spain’s most sought-after summer destinations.
Operating every Tuesday and Saturday until September 8, the seasonal service offers customers the opportunity to explore the picturesque Basque city, renowned for its golden beaches, world-class gastronomy and rich cultural heritage.
Ian Romanis, managing director of BA Cityflyer, said: “The route provides direct access to one of Spain’s most popular coastal destinations, and we’re confident it will prove popular with customers looking to explore the Basque region’s stunning coastline, culture and world-renowned cuisine.”
San Sebastián, situated on Spain’s northern coast, is also famous for its La Concha beach, vibrant Old Town and exceptional culinary scene, making it a popular destination for both leisure travellers and food enthusiasts.
