B&Q shopper saves £300 and leaves kitchen looking 'brand new' just using paint

One savvy B&Q shopper managed to transform their kitchen and leave it looking "brand new" just by using paint from the retailer.

The woman used V33 Renovation White Satin Cupboard & cabinet paint to paint over their cupboard and V33 Renovation Anthracite Satin Wall tile & panelling paint to do their tiles — both purchased for £39.

Revealing that she saved £300 on a total renovation, she shared photos of the kitchen before and after the makeover on the Cleaning tips and tricks Facebook group.

Alongside the pictures, she wrote: "I can’t remember who posted about a kitchen renovation using 3v3 cupboard paint, but it was amazing and I’ve used that on my tiles and cupboards, after stripping them down. A lot of work but so worth it. Before and after."

She added: "No way could we afford a new kitchen right now, for around £300 (plus blind) I've gone from literally hating my kitchen to loving it."

Members of the group were left stunned by the transformation and before long the post had received over 550 likes and more than 110 comments.
