B&Q and Homebase are offering a massive sale on real Christmas trees for the unmissable price of just £1 - and are even giving them away for free.
The DIY giants have been slashing the prices of the trees with just days to go until December 25 in a bid to clear some stock.
Shoppers report that B&Q is selling popular Nordman Firs, usually priced at about £35, for as low as a quid in stores across the UK, including in Scotland.
Customers have flocked to social media and bargain forums after they managed to nab the festive deals for much less well in advance before Christmas Day.
Members of the Hot UK Deals forum have claimed that B&Q stores in East Kilbride are selling real Christmas trees between £3-£5, while others have reported that Homebase are selling them completely free of charge.
Another shopper also said that they spotted "hundreds in Edinburgh Hermiston Gait."

One wrote: "Free at Homebase Gloucester. Plenty in car park and front of store saying help yourself."
Other shoppers shared snap of B&Q Christmas trees in a bargain bin for £1 on Twitter.
The festive deal also covers trees of various different sizes, with some bargains being spotted on trees anywhere between 150cm - 210cm.
Twitter user @juliemaundrill shared a snap of the festive bargain with the caption: "Bargains to be had! Cut Christmas trees now £1.00 @BandQ Goole."

Another Twitter user also wrote: "Things getting a bit tight here time wise. We haven’t even put the tree up yet so I sent himself out to get one.
"B&Q were selling them all off a £1 so he bought 4. I think I may use his ring piece as a stand for 3 of them…"
Before you go heading to your local DIY store for a real Christmas tree, it is worth keeping in mind that prices may vary in each store across the country.
Other's have commented on Twitter that their B&Q are selling real Nordman Fir Trees for £3, so shoppers are advised to shop around before making any purchases.
The festive sale at B&Q has become something of a tradition in recent years, with shoppers on Hot UK Deals mentioning that the Christmas tree clear out is not to be missed.
Last year the DIY giant also held a clear out of Nordman Fir trees that shoppers could bag for as little as just 1p in stores across the country.
The Daily Record has contacted B&Q and Homebase for comment.
