A new B&M £5 hamper filled with notoriously divisive sweets has received mixed reviews from shoppers on social media.
The budget high street retailer is well known for stocking a large selection of retro or unique sweets that regularly go down well with fans who flock to stores to get their hands on them.
This time it is a Liquorice Favourites Favourites Sweet hamper from a popular retro brand that we all grew up with - Bassett's - that shoppers are unsure about.
While some are calling it "perfection in a box", others have questioned "who in their right mind would buy this?".
Filled with a range of the funky tasting sweets, such as Lovely Liquorice Toffee, Liquorice Wands and a Sherbet Fountain, the hamper can only be found in B&M stores.
And, despite being well known for having a divisive taste, it looks like many shoppers wouldn't mind finding this hamper in their Christmas stocking this year.
B&M shared a snap of the retro sweets hamper on Instagram and wrote: "EXCLUSIVE. Satisfy that sweet tooth with this incredible Liquorice Favourites Sweet Hamper!! Liquorice - Love it or hate it?"
The post was then inundated with hundreds of replies from the retailers devoted shoppers, with many saying that they "needed" to get the hamper next time they were in store.
"This is perfection in a box for me", raved one happy shopper. "Love this need it now!!", exclaimed a second. "Omg !! Love these xx", praised a third.
Meanwhile, other shoppers weren't so thrilled. "Just what I wanted for Christmas... said no one... ever!" one wrote. Another commented: "Who in their right mind wold buy this? Haha".
Another simply wrote: "Hate it".
The Liquorice Favourites Sweet Hamper is priced at £5 and is exclusively available to B&M stores. Check with your local store for stock availability.
