B&M shopper gobsmacked after spotting 'all the chocolate melting' in heatwave

As temperatures rise during the heatwave, supermarkets have faced challenges as they try to keep cool.

And it looks like one B&M store in the UK is experiencing difficulties with the weather, as one shopper has shared how "all the chocolate" has melted in their local store.

Alice Nadia took to TikTok to share a video clip showing the effects of the heatwave in her local store based in Featherstone, West Yorkshire.

The 10 second video clip has left some shoppers gobsmacked, with many of them wondering why the retailer has not put on their air conditioning amid the rising temperatures.

In a video, @ alicensx videos the chocolate bends and flops inside its packaging on the shelves.

Among the chaos, a person can be seen picking up a soft, misshapen packet, before the camera pans to another shelf, where a number of chocolate bars appear to have completely melted.

"All the chocolate has melted," the caption claims.

The video has racked up over 1.5 million views since it was posted 3 days ago, with lots of people taking to the comments to share their shock.

One person wrote: "The Australian chocolate is supposed to last longer in the heat that must of been disgustingly hot to do that."

Another comment read: "It’s so bizarre to me how the UK doesn’t have AC in a lot of places, this isn’t the first summer it’s gotten this hot."

Another agreed: "At this point any chocolates and ice cream must be in a fridge."

And a different person simply wrote: "NOT THE DREAM BARS."
