B&M selling huge £50 gazebo - but shoppers are divided over summer 'must-have'

Although summer may feel like a lifetime away as Glasgow gears up for snow this month, thrifty shoppers are already bagging bargains for garden parties months in advance.

Fans of B&M have flocked to popular money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share that the bargain store is selling half-price gazebos - although opinions are split on the product.

While many of us would be chuffed to bag a huge gazebo for just £50 instead of £100, one shopper warned: "These are lovely until the wind comes along and bends all the bars - not strong at all."

Another added: "Don’t breathe on it because it’ll fall down - slightest bit of breeze and the poles bend/snap before it collapses."

Some people didn't even keep their gazebo for 24 hours, with one group member cautioning: "Took mine back the same day! Put mine up and then a little breeze came and boom it buckled. Waste of money and time."

However, some B&M fans have completely disagreed with the negative reviews.

One shopper argued: "Mine is still up bought it summer last year and it’s still standing."

"I've had one up since April and survived all the storms, the cover needs a clean but perfect apart from that," another added.

"Had mine 3 years a bit sun faded on top but mine's fab screwed it into the ground and tied the sides to the wall with thin rope stays fine in the wind," boasted one Facebook user.
