B&M's Rhyl retail park store plan has been submitted

A plan to bring discount brand B&M to a Rhyl retail park has been submitted.

Last year sources revealed that the chain was interested in opening a new store at the £23m Marina Quay development, which opened in 2017.

They have said previously that they expected to keep their existing town centre store open.

Now an application has been submitted to Denbighshire County Council to bring the brand to the park.

It would see units 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Building B merged and taken over by B&M.

The new store would include a garden centre.

It would be another boost to the retail park which added Aldi to its offer this summer.

Scarborough International Properties Limited opened Marina Quay in the summer of 2018 after years of delay in developing the former funfair site.

It has been a slow start at the park but The Range opened a store in 2018, followed by Farmfoods and Greggs.
