B&M's £49 Ninja dupe air fryer is back and could save shoppers almost £160 on energy bills

B&M has brought back its sought-after Ninja dupe air fryer and it's the cheapest on the market.

Shoppers have been eager to get their hands on the £49 Blaupunkt Rapid 4.5 litre air fryer and now the company is restocking it at all of its stores, with the product available from February 10.

Not only is it the cheapest of its size available, independent tests have shown the appliance could save households up to 70% on energy by switching from an oven to an air fryer.

The research found that the air fryer costs 18.4p per hour compared to a conventional oven at 62.2p per hour, concluding it used 70% less energy - with the potential saving of up to £159.87 per year if you switched from using an air fryer for an hour a day compared to a oven.

They reduce cooking times and are a healthier option because they use little or no oil when cooking.

And there are few limits to what you can cook in them too, with them providing a variety of cooking options including frying, grilling, roasting and baking.

A spokesperson said: "With so many households in the UK still feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis and temperatures continuing to drop substantially during the winter months, many families across the UK have been looking for ways they can cut back on their energy bills this winter.

"Air fryers are offering a lifeline to so many families across the country that still want to provide their families with healthy meals, but without worrying about the cost that comes with the cooking process."

The air fryer is £80 cheaper than you can buy the branded Ninja model, making it one of the best value versions available to buy.
