B&M pulls Na Na Na Surprise doll from shelves after mum's complaint

A children's doll has been pulled from B&M's shelves after a shopper was 'mortified' to find it dressed in racy underwear.

The £23 Na Na Na Surprise doll was sold boxed up, so customers are not able to know exactly what it looks like until they have bought it and opened the packaging.

But one mum made a shock discovery when she found the doll was dressed in a fishnet bodysuit and lacy lingerie, The Scottish Sun reports.

The mum, from Fife, Scotland, told the paper: "It's a surprise doll so you can't see what it is when you purchase. There's a selection and it's just random the type of doll you get you get.

"They're dressed differently, they've got different styles, if you like.

"But they come with clothes and underneath the clothes they're wearing what I would say is inappropriate - a lace bra, fishnet tights, ready for a Saturday night.

"I was pretty disgusted. She was pretty oblivious to the under clothes.

"There's a dress as well and a little jacket so she was just excited to put that on.

"But it's just not something that you would take out in public anyway."

A B&M spokesperson said: "We will be removing this product from our stores.

"We’d like to thank our customer for bringing this to our attention and are sorry for any offence that may have been caused."
