B&M launch giant Freddos bag with a twist - but some shoppers aren't convinced

B&M has been driving shoppers wild recently with their sweet treats and bargain buys, and now the brand has yet another product which those with a sweet tooth and a taste for nostalgia can't wait to get their hands on.

In the past, B&M shoppers have been treated to 'heaven in a box' with a Bassets sweet hamper and now the shop has revealed a giant bag of Freddos.

In a post on Instagram, B&M shared an exclusive image at their new giant bag of the classic chocolate treat - but it's likely to cost a lot more than 10p.

The bag contains 15 Freddos - but these are not just your normal Freddos.

The traditional milk chocolate frogs are topped with white chocolate and less than an hour after the post was shared to the brand's social media page, more than a thousand shoppers had taken to Instagram to share their excitement at the news.

One person said: "We can't wait to get our hands on these," which prompted B&M to reply: "Not if we get there first."

However, not everyone was sold on the chocolate frogs. One Instagram user said: "Can't decide if these sound nice or not."

Freddos were first created in 1930 before being relaunched in the 1990s when they cost 10p. However this has increased by around 2p every year - something which has often caused controversy - and currently the chocolate bar costs around 25 - 30p.

What do you think about the white chocolate Freddos? Would you give them a go? Let us know in the comments below.
