B&M is selling 'perfect' Baileys Christmas drink with unusual fruity twist

B&M is the place to bag a bargain, and Christmas shoppers have been flocking there in their droves getting ready for the big day.

The chain is currently advertising the "perfect" festive tipple, with a twist on the traditional glass of Baileys Irish Cream.

It posted the product on its Instagram page and dozens of comments flooded in from shoppers with a sweet tooth.

The limited-edition is an apple pie flavour of the drink, which B&M described as the "perfect pick up for Christmas".

Its post added: "We're really excited to try this - we popped one in our basket immediately after seeing it and we know you'll want to try it to!"

The bottles, which are retailing for £15.49, prompted a mixed response in the comments section. It seems to be the Marmite of the Baileys products, with love or hate reviews from the public.

One Instagram user wrote: “This actually sounds really nice. Especially as I love apple crumble.” Another said: “I really need to try this.”

While a third followed up with: “This is delicious.”

However, others were not such big fans of the tipple. One Instagram user boldly said: “ROTTEN.”

Another wrote: “No not for me. Love Baileys but just how it is!!!”

Others claimed they had picked it up for cheaper in Morrisons and Asda.

Bailey's website describes the apple pie drink as a "brand-new, limited-edition flavour blends the delicious tastes of apple pie and vanilla ice cream with the creaminess of Baileys Original Irish Cream".

It initially said it would only be available at selected Morrisons stores and online, but the drink has now made it to the shelves of B&M's drinks aisle.
