B&M is selling a heated clothes airer for a bargain price of £1

Spring may be around the corner, but the prolonged cold weather means it's still not warm enough to put the washing out to dry.

Thankfully, one discounter has the answer - with £9 off its Addis airer.

B&M has slashed the price of its heated clothes airer to £1 and it's expected to sell out in record time.

It said the nifty rack has 12 metres of drying space so you can hang a load of washing in one go.

The cheap deal was posted on the  B&M Bargains and More Facebook  group where shoppers have been desperate to find which stores still have one in stock.

One shopper said: "Omg I need this!"

While another replied: "£1 no way! Need to get it."

On its website, B&M says supply of the £1 airer is limited so we’d suggest calling your local store ahead of making the journey.

B&M has more than 600 stores across the UK - you can find your nearest one including contact details by using its  store locator tool .

Sadly, you can't order any products from the B&M website.

This airer will be cheaper than running a tumble dryer, but it'll still add extra costs to your energy bills.

Drying clothes indoors can also cause mould due to the extra moisture in the air, so it's best to place it in a room where you can leave a window open - or invest in a dehumidifier to keep the air pure.

And the airer is not the only discount shoppers have spotted at B&M Bargains.

Louise Wallace, 29, moved into her first home this year after being homeless for four years.

After being handed her first paycheck, she moved into a new property - which she was desperate to make her own.

"I decided to go shopping that day because I'd just got my first home after being homeless for four years and it was my first pay check from work so I needed bedroom furniture for my room," she expained.

The young carer from the Wirral, managed to pick up a huge homeware haul from B&M Bargains for £150 less than the asking price.

Louise bought everything from a chest of drawers and bedside tables to a mirror and cushions, and every single item had a huge reduction.

She says the secret is all in the B&M app - which has a clever barcode scanner that tells you about discounts even before staff have changed the labels in store.

Louise only discovered the tool after being told to download the app by a fellow shopper while browsing the store's aisles.

"I didn't know anything about the app until a lady in the shop told me about it," Louise explained.

"In total, I saved over £150. I am not a big bargain hunter but I was absolutely made up when I found out how much I’d saved," she said.
