The £4.99 product was revealed on Facebook in a post by the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group, which showed a picture of the sensor captioned "This is amazing for all you Christmas lovers... B&M, £4.99."
The gadget is battery-operated and can be stuck under any doormat to play classic festive tunes like "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells".
As the sensor has been hugely popular on social media, we doubt that it will be available in stores for long.
The bargains store is selling a huge selection of doormats, such as a Printed Coir design (£5) featuring a 'hello' greeting.
