So one savvy shopper was delighted to spot that budget retailer B&M is now selling Slush Puppie pouches in store - making it even easier to enjoy the cooling retro drink at home.
The shopper posted the find on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, writing: "Spotted this Slush Puppie pouch in B&M for only 89p and I can't wait to try it out later."
The post, which shows the shopper holding a raspberry flavoured version of the drink, has now received thousands of comments and likes.
Plenty of comments on the post suggest the soft drink is the ideal base for summer cocktails - and we happen to agree.
The drink, which also comes in cherry and strawberry flavours, is initially stored in the freezer and when it starts to thaw you can enjoy the slushy and cold beverage on its own or mixed in with alcohol for an adult-only treat.
