B&M is now selling alphabet Christmas stockings for just £3

Nothing says seasonal cheer quite like a well-stuffed Christmas stocking.

And whilst Halloween hasn't even passed yet, shoppers can buy them for only £3 a pop at B&M.

The popular discount retailer has already started selling giant red stockings, which are each adorned with a letter of the alphabet, meaning there's one for everyone in the family.

Each is made using soft red felt and is complete with a white furry trim, perfect for hanging above your fireplace or bedpost.

B&M offered similar Christmas stockings last year but they were knitted and were decorated with snowmen, reindeer and trees.

The new versions were first spotted by a shopper who runs the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

Sharing an image of the festive buys, they said: “Alphabet Christmas Stockings & Sacks From £3 At B&M.”

Shoppers can't wait to buy them (Facebook/Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK)

The post has racked up hundreds of likes and comments, with many people planning a trip to their nearest B&M to buy the stockings.

One eager shopper wrote: "I need these for my 3 this year, big sack ones."

Another person tagged their friend and said: "we need to get these."

While someone else commented: "Oh wow! Love these x."

B&M currently doesn't offer an online service, so you'll need to head to your local branch if you want to buy its alphabet stockings.

The chain has over 650 stores up and down the UK - you can find out your nearest by using  the store locator tool.

If you'd rather buy your Christmas stockings online, Not On The High Street stocks a number of wonderfully designed personalised options - including the Traditional Nordic Knit Christmas Stocking (£16).

While Etsy is selling alphabet stockings with a fur trim and pom pom details for £11.99 each.

More interested in advent calendars? Just in time for winter, B&M has brought back its popular gin advent calendar and you can find it in stores now.

Meanwhile, Home Bargains is selling a scented candle advent calendar that costs only £4.
