B&M is extending its staff discount to all NHS workers again.
In the first lockdown the discount retailer gave £3 million worth of discounts to NHS staff – as a thank you for their continued hard work.
Now, with a new lockdown in force and hospitals working harder than ever the firm has re-launched the offer.
A B&M spokeswoman said: “We applaud the incredible work being done by our NHS workers.
"We hope that by offering this discount we can help them get the essential items they need at the lowest possible price.”
NHS staff can claim B&M's staff discount - worth 10% - from today (Wednesday 6th January).
To redeem the discount, all they have to do is show their NHS photo ID card to the cashiers.
B&M added that as an essential retailer, stores will stay open throughout the lockdown to serve their communities - with more than 670 branches operating nationwide at the moment.
The retailer will also continue to operate priority shopping time for NHS staff.
All NHS and school staff as well as emergency services, care workers and armed forces who hold a Blue Light Card, will also be able to get a 10% discount on their shopping in Morrisons.
Morrisons chief executive David Potts said: “Our emergency services, social care sector and armed forces have worked tirelessly this year to provide support to the many people who need it across the UK, often in exceptionally difficult circumstances.
"This discount is a thank you for all that they have done and continue to do for us all.”
