B&M forced to remove Na Na Na Surprise doll from shelves after mum left "mortified"

B&M have been forced to remove a popular toy from stores across the UK after it left one mum "mortified".

The Na Na Na surprise doll - which comes wrapped as a 'surprise' - was slammed as "disgusting" after she bought the toy for her four-year-old daughter.

It was bought from B&M Bargains in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, for £23 but left her mortified after opening it up.

After unwrapping the gift, her daughter discovered the doll was dressed in lace underwear and fishnets.

After a complaint, B&M made the decision to remove the product from sale, and have also apologised to the customer.

The mum, who does not wish to be named, told The Scottish Sun : "It's a surprise doll so you can't see what it is when you purchase.

"There's a selection and it's just random the type of doll you get you get.

"They're dressed differently, they've got different styles, if you like.

"But they come with clothes and underneath the clothes they're wearing what I would say is inappropriate - a lace bra, fishnet tights, ready for a Saturday night.

"I was pretty disgusted. My daughter... was pretty oblivious to the under clothes.

"There's a dress as well and a little jacket so she was just excited to put that on.

"But it's just not something that you would take out in public anyway."

After complaining to the firm, she was offered an apology and a voucher as a gesture of goodwill.

She added: "I contacted B&M and I contacted what I thought was the manufacturer and both got back and said they were going to be looking into it.
