B&M customers discover 'hidden meaning' in £2 Christmas bauble

B&M has been allowed to remain open across England after being branded an 'essential' store by the government.

Shoppers have flocked to the bargain retailer to get their Christmas decorations - a much-needed boost during a difficult winter.

But some shoppers have got more than they bargained for after spotting a 'hidden feature' inside one of B&M's new £2 Christmas baubles, the MEN reports.

People have been using the embellished heart-shaped decorations to put ashes inside - a lovely gesture towards those who sadly can't be with us at Christmas time.

One shopper said: “Thank you to the person that posted the other day about these ornaments to put ashes in… got one for each close member of my family and put a little card with a message on each one."

Another wrote: "It’s a beautiful idea for beautiful Angels xxx”

A third B&M fan said: "Aww that’s a lovely idea and beautiful ornament."

The baubles are available to buy in stores now, but if you can't find one, B&M says it is selling a Christmas Magic Glass Locket with Glitter Decoration which is very similar.
