A pair of B&B owners outraged viewers of Four In A Bed after paying just £6.20 for a £75 room.
Veronica Pickles and Saida Hammoud appeared on the Channel 4 programme to showcase their guest house The Richwood in Torquay.
The pair failed to impress their competitors, but when they went to visit their rival Helen Fraser's hotel Tai'r Bull Inn in the Brecon Beacons, they loudly voiced their disgust at the dust in their room.
After claiming that there was a "vile smell", they decided not to stay overnight. However, they managed to announce the news at the most awkward moment ever after dinner in front of all the other guests.
The other guests later visited the room and claimed they couldn't smell anything in the room.
When it came to payments, it wasn't surprising that Veronica and Saida underpaid.
But viewers were left gobsmacked when they underpaid Helen by £69.80.
Veronica replied: "We're paying one hour for a cleaner at national minimum wage. We just wanted to be fair. We put our bags down, I used the toilet. So."
"I really wanted to just say 'Keep it'," Helen told the camera. "It was an insult. But I wouldn't show myself up."
And viewers were equally stunned, with one tweeting: "I am SCREAMING at this couple on #fourinabed that paid someone £6.20 for their stay - “the cost of a cleaner on minimum wage” skfbdjskskksksm."
Another raged: "Total d*** move!! Bloody hell im fuming! #fourinabed."
A third admitted: "I wouldve thrown that £6.20 at her #fourinabed."
This comes after TripAdvisor was forced to suspend reviews for another guesthouse after its owners "cheated" rivals on the show.
