Azeez Ojulari, Collin Johnson were highest-graded Giants in Week 3

The New York Giants fell to the Atlanta Falcons, 17-14, in Week 3. That dropped their record to 0-3 on the season and may have started a chain reaction that results in significant change.

Much of what came out of Sunday’s game was negative, but not everything. There were a few small bright spots.

Among them was rookie edge rusher Azeez Ojulari, who picked up his third sack of the season. He also led the team with a 92.2 grade from Pro Football Focus.

Behind Ojulari on the defensive side of the ball were defensive lineman Leonard Williams (83.1), linebacker Tae Crowder (72.2) and defensive back Julian Love (72.0). That’s with a 20-snap minimum.

Other notable defensive grades include cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (71.9), safety Jabrill Peppers (62.1) and linebacker Reggie Ragland (55.6).

The lowest-graded Giants defender was cornerback Rodarius Williams (31.9), but he had just 17 snaps. Safety Logan Ryan, who had 62 snaps, scored the next lowest grade (40.9).

On the offensive side of the ball, wide receiver Collin Johnson shined in place of Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. He graded out with an 83.2.

Behind Johnson were left tackle Andrew Thomas (82.3), center Billy Price (76.2) and wide receiver Kenny Golladay (75.7).

Other notable grades on offense include quarterback Daniel Jones (71.9), running back Saquon Barkley (63.4) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (54.5).

The lowest-grade Giant on offense will come as little surprise. Guard Ben Bredeson graded out at 31.7 (including pass protection grade of 25.7).
