Azaylia Cain's grief-stricken mum treated to hair makeover on pamper day

Azaylia Cain's grieving mum Safiyya Vorajee got a boost today as she revealed a stunning hair transformation on social media

The 33-year-old was treated to a well-deserved pamper day and she shared the process of her makeover on her Instagram stories, with her hairdresser revealing she was being given a "custom made weave"

"She's actually got me out of bed and said 'Let's give you some TLC'", the partner of Ashley Cain told her 1.1 million Instagram followers as she planned her new hair do with her stylist.

The grief-stricken mother, whose baby daughter died of leukaemia in April, went on to reveal it had been a while since she'd enjoyed some beauty treatments, captioning one video update: "I forgot what it feels like to be pampered."

While documenting the transformation process, the aesthetic practitioner revealed her hairdressers had gone above and beyond and even prepared her some food so she didn't go hungry during her pamper session.

"She even cooks," Safiyya says as she holds the meal to the camera.

The much-needed treat came after the heartbroken mother revealed she visits her late daughter's grave up to three times a day.

Speaking on her Instagram story, grieving mum Safiyya said: "I come down and I sit with Azaylia a couple of times a day. Sometimes two, three times a day, and literally my anxiety at the minute is so so high take it under control and I'm just really really struggling at the minute."

"To even get myself up. Sometimes it takes the whole day to even get myself up, today I've just literally been under the duvet all day, and yeah, I've just come down to spend some time with her now.

Azaylia tragically passed away in April at just eight months old after battling an aggressive form of leukaemia. She was buried in their local area of Nuneaton on May 21 during a private funeral.

Safiyya welcomed Azaylia to the world in August 2020 with her partner Ashley Cain but the tot was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia at eight weeks old.

Prior to her death, the former Coventry FC footballer star set up a GoFundMe to raise money for treatment in Singapore, and managed to get more than £1.6million in donations – but sadly, the family were told that her condition was too rare for it to work.

The Ex On the Beach star has promised to distribute the funds to people going through the same experience as himself and Safiyya.

Just weeks after their daughter's passing, the couple announced they would be setting up a charity in her name.

In an update posted to their original fundraiser page, they explained that they were using the money ‘positively’, by putting some towards her funeral and setting up a charity with the remaining funds.

The post read: "The amount of money needed for Azaylia’s potential treatment in Singapore was raised in just 24 hours. That money can sadly no longer be used to help Azaylia but we want to make sure it is used positively – and in Azaylia’s name.’

"After days of emotional yet careful consideration we have decided that, firstly, we would like to use some to give Azaylia a magical and deserving send off – something that we believe you would all want to be a part of,’ the update continued.

"Secondly, we will use the remaining money to help other children through a new charity we are setting up in Azaylia’s name. She has guided us throughout this process and it only feels right that we continue to use the platform we built together to help those in similar situations."
