Ayrshire Tesco cafes extend half price discount offer for shoppers

Tesco is extending a half-price discount offer in its cafes on selected days throughout September.

Inspired by participating in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which ends on August 31, the supermarket chain has now decided to fund a continued offering of 50% off its full menu.

There will be no limits on the discount, for dine in and takeaway, Monday-Wednesday.

Adam Martin, Managing Director at Tesco Café said: “We’ve loved welcoming so many customers into the café over the last few weeks, and understand that cost of eating out is a huge concern for many in such uncertain times.

"We believe everyone deserves freshly cooked, top quality, great value meals, and a break from cooking at home.

"We have therefore taken the decision to extend our 50% off menu throughout September, to give our customers the chance to have a few more well-deserved treats!”

Tesco Café has implemented additional safety measures so customers can be confident that they are enjoying their food in a clean and safe environment.
