An Ayrshire teenager has been found dead following a concern call from a member of the public.
The 19-year-old was found at a property on Canal Street, Saltcoats on Sunday at 8.30pm.
Police confirmed today that a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal following the sudden death.
Officials say that there is not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a property on Canal Street, Saltcoats at around 8.30pm on Sunday, February 16 following a concern call from a member of the public.
"On arrival, officers found the body of a 19-year-old man within the property.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
