Ayrshire takeaway launches new unique take on cheesecake that foodies can't get enough of

An Ayrshire takeaway has put their own unique twist on cheesecakes.

Feast in Troon are serving up an indulgent treat loading up a jar full of their range of homemade cheesecakes.

Foodies with a sweet tooth have been lapping up the cheesecake jars which launched this week and come in four flavours.

Slices of the desert are layered up in reusable glass jars.

The creations have all been put together by owner Michael Crowe who used to be a chef at popular former eating spots, The Ardineil and The Tower Hotel.

Punters can try 'Scots', a homemade tablet and shortbread with vanilla cheesecake, smothered in caramel sauce.

Or 'Oreo Brownie' heaven, which consists of double chocolate brownies, vanilla cheesecake smothered in chocolate sauce and topped with Oreos.

A fresh tasting option is 'a bit zesty', which comes with lemon meringue cheesecake topped with crushed homemade meringue and lemon drizzle.

And hugely popular 'Biscoff', which comes with Biscoff pieces smothered in with chocolate sauce with rich Biscoff cheesecake cream.

Owner of new spot in town says the orders have been flying out the door since Thursdays launch.

Michael, 31, told Ayrshire Live: “I’ve already sold quite a lot of them.

“We tend to do big cheesecakes which can be a bit much for one person, so we thought this is an easy grab and go way of letting people try out homemade desserts.

“You can get the jar and take it up the road with you, can keep it in the fridge and just eat it whenever you want.

“Everything is homemade, that’s our ethos here.

“We’ve been open for 12 weeks and it’s been about fresh produce.

“The Oreo chocolate brownie is a firm favourite, and of course Biscoff everyone loves Biscoff right now.”
