An Ayrshire store are hinting that a new flavour will be coming to town - and it could be a coconut flavoured one.
Stevenston Post Office & Convenience Store posted on their Facebook that people should expect a new variety coming soon.
In a post, they said: Irn Bru 1901 is OLD NEWS. 2020 is coming. New flavour launch on 01.01.2020. Are you ready?"
The coconut flavoured MD is known as 'Coco Loco' - and it's pretty popular in the United States.
A review on Bottoms Up Bros blog had this to say about the flavour:
Coco Loco, as one could suspect, mixes up the classic formula by adding a coconut flavor. This makes the wine taste not unlike something you would find at a luau held under a bridge.
This swill tastes like rubbing alcohol mixed with a coconut scented car air freshener. You will not taste coconut until about five seconds after taking a sip.
Four flavours are currently available in Ayrshire stores: Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Orange Jubilee and Electric Melon.
