Ayrshire road closed as police and fire brigade deal with incident

A road has been closed while emergency services deal with an incident in Crosshouse this morning.

The exact nature of the emergency is not known but a number of agencies are currently on Irvine Road.

Police, Scottish Fire and Rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service are all at the scene.

Stagecoach reported shortly after midnight that there would be a delay to their number 11 service because of a fire in the village.
