Ayrshire pub poised for January Sale on booze

Pub-goers can enjoy a January Sale at The Auld Brig in Irvine.

The Wetherspoons booze is reducing the price on a range of drinks from Friday, January 3 until Thursday, January 16 inclusive.

The range includes both alcoholic and low and alcohol-free drinks.

The sale prices include a pint of Innis & Gunn Lager at £2.95, a pint of Coors Light at £2.59 and a glass of Coldwater Creek wine (175ml glass) at £2.60.

Customers will also be able to sup a pint of Guinness for £2.89 and a pint of Magners for £1.89.

Gordon's gin (single measure with mixer) will be on sale for just £2.65, while a can of R White's raspberry lemonade will cost just 95p.

A can of Brewdog Nanny State or a bottle of Adnams Ghopst Ship will set you back £1.79.

The pick of the low and alcohol-free drinks include: Beck's Blue, Budweiser Prohibition Brew,Heineken 0.0, Brewdog Nanny State and Adnams Ghost Ship.

Auld Brig manager Ross Henderson said the sale is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes.

He added: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale at the pub too.

"This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.

"I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.

"As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."
