Bundles of joy arrived into the world throughout the month of August - and some were in more of a rush than others to make an appearance.
Photographer John Keachie was there to capture some of the special moments as North Ayrshire's little ones and their proud parents met for the first time at the Ayrshire Maternity Unit at Crosshouse Hospital.
For Irvine couple Morgan Dillon and Andrew Macdonald, their first photo with precious daughter Sienna only tells part of the story.
The little one announced her arrival in the hospital corridor before mum Morgan could make it to the labour suite.
