Newborn twins topped off a busy January for midwives at Ayrshire Maternity Unit.
Little Lariah and Lewis Watling made their appearance together on Wednesday, January 29, weighing 4lbs 4oz and 5lbs 5oz respectively.
The baby brother and sister belong to proud mum Demi Woods and dad Alyn Watling of Kilwinning.
Irvine mum Laura McFarlane also welcomed a little bundle of joy into the world at the end of the month.
Her daughter Josie was born on Friday, January 31, weighing, 5lbs 9oz.
January got off to an equally busy start when baby Orla became North Ayrshire's first arrival of 2020.
Weighing 9lb 15oz, she is a third child for parents Ashley and Neil Henry from Saltcoats who already have sons David, six and 18-month-old Harry.
