A man who sent sexually explicit messages to someone he believed to be a child has appeared in court.
James Parker appeared before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week where he pleaded guilty to sending the indecent messages to a woman he thought was under the age of 13.
Parker, Parker, Heathfield Road in Auchinleck in Cumnock, sent the messages between December 31, 2018 and January 13 this year.
The incidents took place at an address in Kilmarnock and Irvine Beack Park.
Parker will be sentenced next month after background reports have been prepared.
