Here at the Irvine Herald we love sharing in the joy of a new born baby.
Every week our photographer goes along to the Ayrshire Maternity Unit at Crosshouse Hospital to take pictures of beaming new parents and their precious bundles of joy.
Sadly of course, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are currently unable to do this.
We asked readers to send in their own pictures of precious ‘lockdown’ babies - those born just before and during the unprecedented social restrictions we find ourselves living under.
And we were inundated with beautiful snaps which we've included in the gallery below.
