Ayrshire Junior giants to put pyramid plans to a vote

Irvine Meadow are set to ask their shareholders to vote on a proposal that could see them leave Junior football.

The club have submitted an Expression of Interest to join the new West of Scotland League at Tier 6 in the SFA pyramid.

The three-times Scottish Junior Cup winners have to decide before the end of March if they wish to join or not.

A shareholders meeting has been set for Sunday, March 22 at 2.30pm to vote on the issue.

Shareholders will have one vote per share. Votes can be cast by Proxy for those shareholders unable to attend the meeting.

Meadow say shares are still available for any supporters to purchase and the share register will be brought up to date before the meeting.

Fans will be kept updated via the club's supporters forum  and Social Media.
