Ayrshire Hospice looks to partner with businesses for charity support

Bosses at the Ayrshire Hospice are appealing to organisations across the county to partner up with the charity.

They want to form a "beneficial two-way relationship" that would see both parties receive key support.

From volunteering opportunities for staff to creating a teambuilding culture through fundraising or making the hospice your nominated Charity of the Year, organisations can make a significant impact.

Over the years, the hospice has had partnerships with organisations such as NATS, Spirit AeroSystems, SimpsInns and Kerr & Smith.

Michelle McNeil, of Spirit AeroSystems, said: “It was a pleasure to work with, and raise funds for, a cause close to many of the Spirit employees’ hearts.

"We raised £109,000 during 2018-20 which is the highest ever amount raised during a two-year partnership and it’s thanks to the Spirit employees who have been very passionate, and had a lot of fun, raising funds for this worthy cause.”

Karen Simpson of SimpsInns, added: “It’s a pleasure to support Ayrshire Hospice through the terramundi pots which we have in all our venues.

"For any business looking to associate with a local charity, we would highly recommend partnering with the Ayrshire Hospice.”
