Christmas will be brighter for the elderly in Irvine after a kind donation.
Members of Irvine Seniors Forum gathered at Fullarton Hub before Christmas to present a £500 donation to the hub's Donna Fitzpatrick to bring festive cheer to older members of the community.
Rosemary Byrne, chairperson said: “Irvine Seniors Forum members are delighted to support the work of the community teams at the Fullarton and Vineburgh Centres and give this donation in recognition of the wonderful support the teams have provided across the community.
“We are delighted to be in the position to give this money back to the community as we were given a very kind donation recently and under the current circumstances we could think of no better way to use it."
