Ayrshire's rising star Jude Shedden was thrilled with his lockdown red carpet event for his first movie role.
The Irvine teenager was dressed to impress to watch the rom-com of A Little Italian Vacation, in which he landed the comedic part of Schmae.
The young actor filmed his scenes in Italy almost three years ago but due to the ongoing pandemic, the release date was put off until Saturday, March 20.
Jude thanked all of his supporters on the night.
Speaking after the event, Jude said: "It was really great and worth the wait. My mum set up a red carpet. It was great.
"I filmed the role a few years ago and I thought I was going to be embarrassed watching because I was younger then and I've changed so much but instead I was just kind of proud.
"My favourite scene was the heart-to-heart I had with Leo; that was a pretty cool scene.
"Most of my friends have watched it and they really enjoyed the movie and thought I was funny in it.
"It felt really special and it was a great night."

A Little Italian is in competition for Best Comedy at the Cinequest film festival.
Proud mum Michelle spent the better part of Saturday morning decorating her home like a cinema red carpet event, to make the lockdown event as magical as possible for Jude.
She said: "Watching it was a great experience, some parts were hard to watch because of the language he uses and I'm not used to hearing him say those things but it was really well done.
"It's been well received by everyone and we got lots of comments from friends and family telling us he played the part so well.
"It was nice to see it all put together.

"It's a big thing for Jude and I just wanted to make the night special for him since he's missing out on a premiere because of Covid. He worked really hard, he deserves it and I wanted to show him the payoff for all of his efforts.
"It's made him want to pursue his acting career even more – hopefully at his next premiere it won't be a red carpet from Amazon."
The director of A Little Italian Vacation, Filipe Torres Urso, also praised Jude.
He said: "Jude was a total professional on set and a lot of fun to be around. He was always eager to learn which was very cool and wanting to understands the process.
"He was just lovely and during the stunt scenes, he was totally fearless.

"Jude's character Schmae, even though he's a child, he is on the inside an old man and he is the wise, sage character that the high school students go to for advice. He's the adult but his humour is sweet."
This is Filipe's first solo feature after spending years working as an assistant on Hollywood movies and TV shows.
Speaking about the new release, Filipe revealed: "This is a low-budget film I produced with my brother and two of my best friends; we're all Hispanic filmmakers.
"A Little Italian Vacation is a rom-com centered around high school students evaluating their life, loves, and loss as they get ready to take the next step in their life. The film is a comedy but we worked in the theme of nostalgia throughout.
"I'm very proud and I really believe the making of this film would not have been possible without everyone's maverick spirit – everyone gave it their all."
A Little Italian Vacation is set to be released in 108 countries and you can watch it now on Amazon Prime.
