Ayr United v Hamilton: How to watch as Accies aim for another crucial win

Stuart Taylor's Hamilton Accies will look to secure back-to-back Championship victories this Friday when they take on Ayr United at Somerset Park.

A crucial win was achieved against Dunfermline Athletic last weekend and another will be sought after against Jim Duffy's Ayr.

Head coach Taylor has been boosted in the last week by the arrival of new assistant John Rankin and three points, off the back of a Scottish Cup defeat to Auchinleck and an SPFL Trust Trophy loss to Kilmarnock.

Sitting sixth in the table, Accies are aiming to move six points clear of bottom club Queen of the South with victory in Ayrshire.

The Championship's bottom half are separated by three points, and with Ayr seventh, another good result is key for Hamilton.

There will be no pay-at-the-gate option for travelling fans this Friday, with adults admission prices standing at £18. Concessions are £12 and u18s go for £6.

It's a game for the TV too with BBC Scotland broadcasting the match, which kicks off at 19:45.

Craig Napier is the referee for Friday's match. Ralph Gordon and Barry Reid are the assistants and Barry Cook is fourth official for the day.

Napier took charge of Accies' League Cup tie against Edinburgh City back in July.
