Ayr United usher in new era with Hummel as club shop reopens after four months of lockdown

Ayr United fans returned to Somerset Park for the first time in four months today - as the club's official shop reopened for business.

United's new Hummel home kit for season 20/21 was among the hot items flying out the door.

Supporters also got their first glimpse of the club's new leisurewear range with the Danish sportswear giant.

Ayr's commercial manager, Graeme Miller, was among those greeting fans like Ayr under 13s star Brandon Hiddleston (pictured above) at 9am.

He said: "We’re delighted to finally welcome fans back through the door.

"An incredible amount of work has gone into preparing our shop behind the scenes to comply with all the new guidelines and we’re just thrilled to get going again.

"Our new Hummel home kit and leisurewear range has been highly anticipated by fans throughout lockdown and, with the fantastic new away kit to follow, we’re hoping for a busy few weeks and months ahead.

"Every penny spent by fans in the shop is a massive help during these times and it cannot be stressed enough how much we appreciate that support."
