Ayr United’s walking football sides are looking the part thanks to official sponsorship for their new kits.
Ayrshire Medical Services (AMS) are backing the United Academy’s project, which has allowed the purchase of two new sets of strips for players to wear when they represent Ayr United at local and national tournaments.
The United Academy will also host an Ayr United walking football tournament, set to take place next spring, which will involve AMS and showcase how people can get the best out of their services.
The Academy’s Shaun Ferrie told the Post: “AUFA walking football are delighted to be sponsored AMS as both organisations want to encourage men and women to look after their wellbeing.
“Playing walking football can help towards looking after your wellbeing and with AMS’ assistance and knowledge we are delighted to have them as a partner.”
