Ayr United fans are being urged to put their shirt on the club during the coronavirus crisis.
The Honest Men today unveiled a “club record” multi-year deal with kit supplier hummel.
The sportswear giant will provide Ayr with gear for the next four seasons.
And club bosses hope supporters will answer a call to arms by placing online pre-orders to boost their coffers.
Announcing the landmark deal, commercial chief Graeme Miller said: “We’re living in unprecedented times and never has the need been greater for our fans to sport the black and white.
“This is a very exciting deal for the club and working with hummel is a huge opportunity for us.
“Their design team will provide at least one completely bespoke strip per season for us. We think this will offer some great value with a world-class brand.”
Ayr have made the new kit available for pre-order online now.
Miller said: “The strips are ready to go but in line with current government guidance, we must wait until we are physically able to dispatch them. We hope that will be sooner rather than later.
“Getting much needed revenue into the club right now is vital and it cannot be stressed how important the sales of these strips could be over the coming weeks and months.
“For now, fans can play their part by placing their orders.”
