Mark Kerr reckons his fab front four are ready to reignite Ayr United's season.
New signing Andre Wright had an immediate impact as Ayr breezed past Alloa at Somerset.
And boss Kerr was delighted with the attacking threat of his side as they maintained their unbeaten home record.
He said: "We have no excuses now.
"We have a striker who's come in and immediately done well today.
"Balls have been going across the box for weeks that we've not been getting on the end of.
"But today, we had quality coming in and we were a real threat because of it."
Wright's presence up top allowed Tom Walsh, Cammy Smith and Luke McCowan to prove a constant menace in behind.
And Kerr was delighted to see Walsh and McCowan contribute three of the goals.
He said: "Both of Luke's finishes were brilliant and he showed real quality.
"Tom was one of my biggest signings of the season but has had his injury problems.
"Thankfully he's looking sharp again and gives us great width.
"We have a run of big games coming up but we'll take confidence from this.
"And I fully believe we can go and take points in the games to come."
Ayr looked up for it from the off and took a deserved early lead.
Walsh was the man on target as he picked up a corner at the backpost and rifled a fine finish past Neil Parry.
But the Wasps were quickly on level terms with a contender for goal of the season.
Former Ayr man Alan Trouten used quick thinking from a free-kick and launched a stunning effort over United keeper Viljami Sinisalo.
But Ayr responded when McCowan showed great composure to curl home a left foot effort from 12 yards.
The home side were straight on the front foot at the start of the second half and a great run from left back Corrie Ndaba ended with a shot which flew just wide.
But they soon had the third when full back Mikey Miller earned a penalty after his great run into the box was ended by Steven Hetherington.
And Aaron Muirhead stepped up to ram home the spot-kick with authority.
Ayr were on easy street after that and added a stylish fourth when Walsh crossed for McCowan to clip home his second of the game.
Wasps boss Peter Grant said: "The goals we lost were criminal and it's the same sort of thing all the time.
"We can't keep doing it because this division is hard enough.
"Ayr are a good side and we knew that, but I didn't think there was a lot between the teams."
