A stalker scoured the streets of Ayr to gather information about his former partner.
Kevan Forrest, 53, of New Road, Ayr, turned up at a pub, a butchers and other businesses as he gathered information about his ex.
He appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court last week and admitted a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear and alarm.
The offences were committed at Westwood Crescent, Ayr, Rabbie’s Bar, A Picken and Sons in Main Street and elsewhere.
He persistently sent text messages, went to the victim’s home and attended a pub and businesses which the victim frequented to gather information about her via employees.
Forrest repeatedly approached his victim in the street and passed messages to her via her family members.
Sheriff John Montgomery deferred sentence on Forrest until July 23.
