Three pals from an Ayr primary school are to star on the small screen tonight.
Youth theatre prospect, Tyler Rodgers, will join Forehill mates Joshua Prout-Gray and Aimie Glackin on a new hit BBC show, One Night in the Museum.
The trio will be filmed as they are let loose in Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry when darkness falls.
Producers observe their every movement on camera and how the youngsters interact in their educational surroundings.
Tyler, nine, is one of the rising stars at Ayrshire's Hipshot Youth Theatre, and was among those chosen by a casting agency for the gig.
His proud mum Stephanie, 28, said: "It was an amazing experience for him and the other kids and we can't wait to see them on TV.
"They were filmed on the train down to Manchester and then we had to leave them inside this museum to run loose.
"The theory behind the programme is curious kids and what they get up to when they're left alone.
"It was ideal for Tyler because he's pretty much a born performer and loves being on a stage.
"He's been part of Hipshot since he was six and rehearses non-stop for his shows, even during holidays.
"He'll just sit in his room practising his lines and absolutely loves it.
"But he definitely doesn't take after me because when they filmed me saying a few things on camera for this show, I could barely get my words out!"
Hipshot boss, Chris Taylor, said he wasn't surprised producers plumped for Tyler to star on the show.
He added: "From day one, Tyler has stood out, not just for his acting talent but he is genuinely one of a kind.
"He's the happiest, most polite wee guy in the world and I couldn't be happier for him and his family."
One Night In The Museum airs tonight on BBC Scotland at 8pm.
