This is the moving moment staff at Ayr Hospital lined the corridors to applaud a patient out of intensive care.
The man, identified in the clip as Mr Oattes, had made substantial steps in his recovery battling the coronavirus.
And in the touching clip, he is seen being wheeled from ICU by a nurse and down the corridor as staff line up to applaud.
A statement on the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Facebook page read: "These moments congratulate patients moving on to the next stage in their rehabilitation and recovery journey."
In the footage, dozens of nurses and doctors form a guard of honour to cheer and applaud as Mr Oattes is wheeled down the corridor.
