Another building has fallen victim to the curse of Ayr’s crumbling buildings.
American sweet shop Candylicious on the High Street were asked to lock their doors for the day after the store was cordoned off following reports of bricks and debris falling from the building above.
A Police spokesman confirmed the area is being taped off for safety reasons and that building control will be on site to carry out assessments.
Officers remain at the scene.
