Serial entrepreneur Forbes Robertson has won planning permission for a new veterinary practice.
He hopes the centre - which will also house a dog groomers - will be open next year.
The vets will have two consulting rooms, an operating theatre, an X-ray room and a recovery room.
The site in Ayr’s West Sanquar Road is next to his existing business Pet Heaven, the animal crematorium.
Forbes said: “I am really excited about the development, which will be a one-stop shop for animals.
“I think it will be unique facility in the UK.”
