Ayodhya Ram Temple to open for devotees by December 2023

Reportedly, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will open to the public by December 2023.

Work on completion of the entire project of building the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya is expected to happen by the year 2025; however, it will likely open to visitors by December 2023. Reportedly, the temple complex will feature digital archives, a museum, and a research centre.

The temple complex is set to be built in an area spread across 110 ac, which is much larger than the original area of around 67 ac. Reportedly, the Ram Temple Trust has acquired more land neighbouring the existing complex.

As per a source from the temple trust, construction of all five mandaps of the Ground Floor and the garb griha, along with laying of stones on the first floor will be completed by 2023. He added that the idols of Ram Lalla will be shifted to the new temple and the garb griha then. Revealing further, the source stated that there is a difference in the completion of the temple and darshan, and that they plan to open the area for devotees by the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, carving on stones in the temple, and rest of the work in the temple complex will go on as usual and will remain work-in-progress till 2025. The source stated that the construction work of the temple is progressing according to the plan.
